Veneer Hot Press Dryer
The veneer hot press dryer dries veneer in stacked layers between electrically controlled heated platens - a press-type solution that dries and flattens at the same time. Steam or thermal oil heats the platens, and the whole dehumidification process follows preset curves under automatic electrical control, so every batch reaches the same moisture. Multi-daylight designs (for example the HYG48-40 series) process several layers per cycle, which makes this machine productive even though it works in batches. Plants that struggle with warped or blistered veneer from conveyor dryers often switch to press drying for face veneer quality.
Engineered Features & Highlights
- Multi-daylight batch processing delivers dead-flat, stress-free veneers
- Guaranteed defect-free face veneers for high-grade furniture and decorative plywood
Why Leading Global Producers Choose Hanvy
Intelligent CNC Servo Infeed & Precision Thickness
Precision ground ball screws coupled with high-torque servo drives ensure sub-millimeter thickness tolerance (±0.02 mm) across wide veneer ribbons.
Stress-Relieved Heavy Structural Steel Frame
High-tensile structural steel chassis with thermal stress-relief treatment, precision CNC gantry machined for zero deflection under decades of heavy hydraulic load.
Siemens PLC Automation & Digital Recipe Storage
Intuitive Siemens touchscreen HMI with instant digital recipe recall for multiple log species (eucalyptus, birch, pine, poplar, rubberwood).
Maximum Raw Material Recovery (+6% - 10%)
Optimized hydraulic constant knife pitch shrinks residual core diameter down to 28-32mm, maximizing wood recovery by over 6% - 10%.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q:What wood species are suitable for this machine?
Hanvy machinery is engineered for both hardwoods and softwoods, including Eucalyptus, Birch, Radiata Pine, Poplar, Rubberwood, and tropical timber. The Siemens control system includes pre-configured recipes for various wood densities.
Q:What is the delivery lead time and export packaging standard?
Standard machines ship within 30-45 days; complete turnkey production lines require 60-90 days. All machined surfaces are treated with marine-grade anti-rust coating, plastic film wrapped, and steel-wire braced in standard 40ft HQ shipping containers.
Q:Do you provide on-site overseas installation and commissioning?
Yes. Hanvy has dedicated overseas engineering teams available to travel worldwide to your job site for foundation verification, machine erection, electrical cabling, and live trial peeling/pressing until full target capacity is achieved.
Q:What is the warranty policy and spare parts availability?
We provide a 12-month full machine warranty. Critical wear parts are stocked in our central warehouse and can be dispatched worldwide via DHL/FedEx within 24-48 hours. Lifetime 24/7 remote video and PLC diagnostic support is included.
